Home health aides are responsible for providing routine personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in the home of the patient or in a residential care facility under the supervision of a RN.
Our home health aides are licensed by the State of New Jersey. All of our caregivers are carefully screened and interviewed prior to becoming employees of Home Sweet Home Care to ascertain that they are kind, caring, responsible, and compassionate. This is followed by an orientation session in our office. In addition, a CHHA goes through criminal background checks, including fingerprints, and must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
Each of the members of our healthcare team is continuously monitored, guided, and advised by our Director of Nursing Services. Our team members are carefully selected and each has the following credentials:
